Christmas Remembrance Graphics
Honouring Our Precious Children, Together
Every December since 2011, Anam Cara Fasgadh’s co-founder Susan has created personalised Christmas remembrance graphics in memory of her own children, Alex and Eilidh Beth.
What began as a quiet act of love , something to fill the hours she would have spent with Alex (now 18) and Eilidh Beth (now 15), has grown into a cherished annual tradition shared with bereaved families across Scotland and beyond.
Each year, as she designs these graphics, she holds every child’s name close. She thinks about their stories, their families, and the deep and lasting gap they have left. Creating these images brings her comfort ~ a way of honouring not only her own children, but the beautiful children who are so deeply missed by others.
Christmas can be an incredibly difficult time, whether a family is facing their first festive season without their wee one, or their 31st. The longing doesn’t fade. The love never ends. At this time of year especially, names matter, memories matter, and being able to see your child acknowledged can mean everything.
