Sharing Your Child’s Story
Every child matters. Every story matters.
Many bereaved families tell us that sharing their child’s story, and reading the stories of others, helps them feel less alone in their grief. Hearing about the love, the memories, and the ways other families cope can offer comfort, understanding and hope, even in the darkest times.
This page gives you the opportunity to share your child’s story with the Anam Cara Fasgadh community. There is no right or wrong way to tell your story, and no expectation to share more than you feel comfortable with. You can write as much or as little as you wish, and you are welcome to focus on whatever feels most important to you ~ your child, your journey, your grief, or what has helped you along the way.
We will publish your child’s story on our blog and on our social media ~ by sharing your story, you may help another family feel seen, understood, or supported during their own bereavement. Your words could be the reminder someone else needs that they are not alone.
We will always treat your story with care, dignity and respect. Stories shared will be featured on our social media platforms to help raise awareness of bereavement, child loss and the importance of compassionate support for families. If at any time you change your mind, or wish your story to be removed, you can contact us and we will honour your wishes.
If you would like to include photographs of your child or family, please email these separately to info@anamcarafasgadh.org once you have submitted the form.
Thank you for trusting us with something so precious.
Data storage & retention: We will store your information securely and only for as long as it is needed to fulfil the purposes you have agreed to, or as required by law. You can withdraw your child’s story at any time.
